Uniform
The Belvidere uniform helps everyone feel part of our school community. Students represent our school, so we expect them to dress and behave in a way that shows our high standards. Wearing the uniform properly also helps students take pride in their appearance and prepares them for life and careers after school.
We appreciate parents and carers helping students to wear the correct uniform and to come to school looking smart and ready to learn. If there is a temporary problem with uniform, please let reception know as soon as possible.
All staff check uniform regularly, and the school will contact you if your child has ongoing uniform issues.

- Students are to bring PE kit into school and change when they have PE lessons. PE kit is not to be worn to school in place of school uniform.
- In Key Stage 3, make-up is not allowed for school. Discreet make-up may be worn as a privilege in Years 10 and 11. If make-up is not discreet students will be asked to remove it and will lose this privilege if they persistently turn up with inappropriate make-up. Nail varnish is not allowed for any year group. False eyelashes and false nails of any type are not allowed. If make-up is to be worn for medical reasons, a note must be provided.
